Support Opportunities

The biggest reason that people live, work and play in Canby is contributed to the quality of life that we have all come to enjoy. Everyone benefits when citizens become involved and feel empowered to make a difference in the direct community that we live in.

After assisting in a community project or working with an advisor, we consistently hear comments from participants. Most people say that it felt good to be a part of making a difference in where we live or that they met someone new. Other supporters have commented that the hesitated to become involved in community concern because they didn't know where to begin and they felt overwhelmed. Canby Livability is designed to create win/win strategies that ultimately improve the quality of life in our town.

Whether you were born and raised in Canby or your new to the neighborhood, if your committed to the livability of our community, then consider our organization as a resource.  Contact CLC

Become An Advisor: Do you have an area of concern or interest related to quality of life issues that you would like leadership support with? Canby Livability is designed to combine resources, streamline volunteer efforts, identify funding strategies, and to bring like minded people together. Bring your idea for an advisory position to a monthly meeting and the board of advisors can explore with you the current possibilities for your area of interest. The time commitment of an advisor is determined by the how much the individual wants to give to their area of interest. Most communications are done by email. Advisors submit a brief monthly summary report to document what is happening with their area of interest as well as any upcoming needs and then attend the monthly advisor meeting.
