Preview Auction Items in a gallery setting with demonstrating artists accompanied by live music and appetizers. On Fri. June 1, 2007 the auction will be conducted in conjunction with the Canby Art’s Association “First Friday” event in the festival’s art gallery. The Canby Wine and Arts Festival is held June 1-3, 2007.
Auction items will be displayed with the artist bio and any description provided regarding the production, materials, inspiration, or elements important to the sale of the art work. The same information will appear in the auction catalog. To further feature the artist’s art work, all auctioned items will stay on site through Sunday. Displayed with the art work will be the artist bio as well as a thank you to the name of the person/business who purchased the item. The main focus of the auction is to fund more public art in Canby while showcasing the talent of artists who support the ground breaking of the Art Park.
