Members of the
Canby Livability Board of Advisors serve as liaisons to community groups
involved with an area of livability such as “Parks and Recreation” or
“Art”. The area of livability that an advisor is interested in becomes
their “Community Focus”. The advisor keeps in touch with the community
groups involved with that area of livability and acts as a resource
person for those groups as well as for individuals interested in what is
going on in Canby in that area. For instance, if someone wanted to know
if a Neighborhood Association could help them with a problem, they could
contact the Neighborhood Association Community Focus Contact person for
information.
